En la 95.ª edición de los premios de la Academia de Hollywood, Todo en todas partes al mismo tiempo se alzó con la estatuilla a mejor película y otras seis más. La alemana Sin novedad en el frente se impuso a Argentina, 1985 en el rubro internacional. Michelle Yeoh y Brendan Fraser, los mejores intérpretes.
El mexicano Guillermo del Toro ganó con PinochoTodo en todas partes al mismo tiempo se llevó… casi todo. Y casi a la vez. Siete de las 11 nominaciones en las que competía. Y es que el filme de Daniel Kwan y Daniel Scheinert (distinguidos por su dirección) fue la gran estrella de la 95.ª edición de los premios de la Academia de Hollywood, al quedarse con el Oscar a mejor película en una categoría integrada por una decena de filmes.
Pero también ganó entre los interpretes: Michelle Yeoh como actriz principal, Jamie Lee Curtis en el rol secundario al igual que Ke Huy Quan. Solo el notable Brendan Fraser, con su descollante actuación en La Ballena, interrumpió este cuarteto ideal: es el mejor actor, sin duda alguna.
La alemana Sin novedad en el frente se impuso a Argentina, 1985 como mejor película internacional. Y se quedó con otros tres premios. El mexicano Guillermo del Toro fue el primero de la noche en subir al escenario para recibir una estatuilla con su Pinocho.
